This is the only camping
site along the
Sirolo
which directly overlooks the sea allowing its guests
to choose between the two most splendid pebble or
rocky beaches along the
Conero Riviera
and easily accessible from the camping grounds. The
Urbani beach with its characteristic cave and small
jetty is equipped with a bar and restaurant and is
also reachable by car, it is ideal for children as
the water is shallow and gradually deepens.
S. Michele
is a natural beach with the occasional summer kiosk
and rather private as it is reached only on foot,
however, it is nevertheless suitable for children
although it offers fewer amenities. The
Sassi Neri
beach which is rocky and rather difficult to reach,
making it very private, extends along the most
northern tip of St.
Michele Bay. |

The beaches
underlying the camping site
are accessible by paths, pervious only
on foot. The path leading to the beach on the north
side of the camping area (S.
Michele and Sassi Neri beaches)
is approximately 100 metres in length and mainly
made of steps. The other, which takes you through an
oak grove, heading south to the
Urbani beach,
is 150 metres long and fringes the camping grounds.
Both paths are unsuitable for prams or push-chairs
and are not recommended for the disabled.
Our fees do not
include
beach facility charges. Why pay full
price for a beach umbrella and two lie-beds if they
are not used daily? One may prefer to go on an
excursion or do some shopping otherwise your
children may like to spend the afternoon at the pool
or playing games at the kiddies’ club. Feel free to
make your own choice, as both the underlying beaches
offer the opportunity of making use of their
facilities or not.
Therefore, one may opt to make use of the
natural beach space
or hire
lie-beds and beach umbrellas (on a weekly or
day-by-day basis)
from one the beach establishments, one
of which (at S. Michele beach) has an agreement with
the Camping Internazionale and offers discount fees
to guests with a pass-out.
